Let's Change The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights
and start to work on the Copiania project.

Universal Declaration Of Human Rights

First we should refresh the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The UDHR can largely be copied but needs to b edited a bit, because the position of “Statism“ is too prevalent. We also need to make clear what volutaryism is, what “the right to participate in money creation“ means and how we can secure those. We plan to put the redacted UDHR on the Copiania Website in 68 languages. We also should have a proper version management system for it, and hash it so it is easy to see if there have been changes during time. All changes need to be traceable. Copiania will do this in 68 languages, but everyone is obviously allowed to create version in other languages. Large parts of the UDHR will however not ever be changeable. Parts of the UDHR - that are allowed to be changed - need at least 75% of the votes where at least 75% of the people that are able to vote, entered their vote.

SELF-SOVEREIGN IDENTITY

A voting system and an Ethical Money system implies there must be an ID-system as well. As explained in my article about Self-Sovereign Identity, your ID should be 100% Self-Sovereign. This way every person can register themselves without anybody or any institution able to block this. We need voting to be able to raise flags when the Global Economic Depression moment arrives as explained here. We also need to be able to vote for example on amendments of certain Human Rights.

To be clear: All identities will be public, just like the casted votes will be, identity fraud is not to be expected as it will directly cause issues as your identity is also the basis for a part of your income in the financial system. Because fraud is easy to detect, people will decide not to transact with people that committed fraud. In severe cases people might even need to reallocate and start with a new identity after committing fraud.

Crucial for the Copiania society is Ethical Money. To be able to create Ethical Money it is necessary for people to use an identity and make that public, so it can be properly checked. Without Digital Identities it is not possible to have a fair money creation system.

Now identities need to be Self-Sovereign which means you (and you alone) can decide to create it, change it and delete it. Your ID will be visible to all the people you transact with. There is no way around that.

So with that in mind, it makes (a lot of) sense to use the same Digital Identities to vote on the UDHR text and the Global Economic Depression flag (that indicates the moment to swap the financial system). Local communities can also use these digital ID’s for all kind of other - regional - votes, but as said, every community is free to organize themselves in every way they like, as long the UDHR is not breached.

MORE GLOBAL ORGANIZATIONS

It is possible that a local community goes berserk, commits atrocities against its own people, or even wants to go to war. In those cases the global community should be able to intervene, which means that the global community will need to install a special intervention / peace keeping force. Crucial again is that any global organization can only be allowed when it is completely transparent and monitored 24/7. Secret agents will be a thing of the past. Intervention procedures need to be triggered by voting, so it is important to organize this very well.

It is very likely that this global intervention / peace keeping force is the only global organization that needs to be permanently operational. There don't seem to be any other issues that need a special permanent global organization.

In the beginning of the Copiania era, there will be several global funds where a lot of valuable assets (like gold, precious stones and other natural resources and valuables) will be stored and managed, to make the distribution of it fair. Again: also those should be perfectly transparent and those will have a clear goal to be dismantled as soon as possible. There should also be a global legal council to assist when there are disputes in the initial distribution of confiscated goods as this will surpass the regions. This legal council should also be dismantled as soon as possible, once they are properly emptied out.

EDIT THE UDHR

Now we start with the work, we will first take a look at the UDHR, enter some initial necessary changes and continue our work from there. Remember that all languages outside English are auto-translated, which may lead to some discrepancies with the English version. Over time we hope to remove any of such errors. If you encounter such errors, please let us know by using the ”Contact Us” link on the bottom of this article. These are the edits we propose:

Preamble (2nd Point)

Original

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Edits:

  1. “common people” is replaced by “people“, since all people are deemed equeal, no distinction should be made when talking about people.

Preamble (2nd point)

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the people,

Preamble (4th Point)

Original

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,

Edits:

  1. “nations” is replaced by “regions“. Since transparency can be secured better by small regional communities, super-regional institutes should be abolished alltogether.

Preamble (4th point)

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between regions,

Preamble (5th Point)

Original

Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

Edits:

  1. “peoples of the United Nations” is replaced by “people of this world“. All Super-regional institutes have failed and were actually designed to transfer massive power to a tiny cabal. No institute should ever claim to be representatives of all people.

  2. “the Charter” is replaced by “this declaration“ to avoid confusion.

  3. “human person” is replaced by “human“. The word ”person” is removed because we are talking about real humans and not about forms of representation of humans.

Preamble (5th point)

Whereas the people of this world have in this declaration reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

Preamble (6th Point)

Original

Whereas Member States have pledged themselves to achieve, in cooperation with the United Nations, the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms,

Edits:

  1. “Member States” is replaced by “the people of this world“. Since this declaration is created for every person, every person should help to promote these rights. Promotion should not be done by institutes alone.

Preamble (6th point)

Whereas the people of this world have pledged themselves to achieve the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms,

Preamble (Proclaimer)

Original

The General Assembly,

Edits:

  1. “The General Assembly” is replaced by “The people of this world“. Since this declaration is created for every person no institute other than the people can represent it.

The people of this world,

Preamble (Proclamation)

Original

Proclaims this Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of Member States themselves and among the peoples of territories under their jurisdiction.

Edits:

  1. “nations” is replaced by “regions“. Since transparency can be secured better by small regional communities, super-regional institutes should be abolished alltogether.

  2. “international” is replaced by “global“. Since transparency can be secured better by small regional communities, super-regional institutes should be abolished alltogether.

  3. “both among the peoples of Member States themselves and” is removed, since super-regional institutes should be abolished alltogether.

  4. “of territories under their jurisdiction” is removed, since it only clouds and weakens the proclamation.

Preamble (proclamation)

proclaim this Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all regions, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, regional and global, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, among the people.

Article 1

Original

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Edits:

  1. The term “born“ can be removed as it is confusing. Also before and after a human is born it is free and equal in dignity and rights;

  2. The term “human being“ can be replaced by the word “human“, as the intention is it to have exactly the same meaning as “human being“. Similarly the term “human beings” will be replaced by the term “humans“;

  3. The word “should“ can be replaced by “are expected to“ as that gives more importance than the word “should“. Using “are expected“ shows better that each human is required by society to consider the entire society as it’s own brotherhood.

Revised: Article 1

All humans are free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and are expected to act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Article 2

Original

Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.

Edits:

  1. Article 2 can be removed all together as article 1 already implies that “All humans are equal in dignity and rights. There is no reason to repeat that everyone is entitled to these rights as the word “entitled“ doesn’t provide more rights than the word “is“ that is used in Article 1. Every added specification or clarification only unnecessarily implies that those mentioned distinction could be made which doesn’t help to make this right clearer.

REMOVED

Article 3

Original

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

Edits:

  1. Article 3 will be renumbered to Article 2;

  2. The word “Everyone” is confusing as we are talking about “All human beings“. So “Everyone” will be replaced by “All humans“;

  3. The term “of person“ implies a difference between “a Human” and “a Person” where it should be exactly the same. This means the term “person” in this article and all other articles will be replaced by “human“;

  4. The part of the sentence that now says “Every human has the right of security of human.“ makes no sense. The term “security of human“ will be replaced by simply the word “security“.

Revised: Article 2

All humans have the right to life, liberty and security.

Article 4

Original

No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.

Edits:

  1. Article 4 will be renumbered to Article 3;

  2. “No one” will be replaced by “No human“;

  3. The interesting reality of this article is that at the time of this edit, over 95% of the world population is held in slavery and/or servitude. A combination of 2 monopolies of the owners of the financial system (the sole privilege to create money out of thin air and the sole privilege to monitor everyone’s transactions) make this possible. A clever smokescreen to hide their wealth combined with an unprecedented, extreme evil, violent, criminal and genocidal control system (where almost all governments, NGO’s and United Nations related organizations play a crucial role) enable these owners to conceal this slavery system for the general public. The fact that Art. 4 is part of the UDHR is noting less than a cruel, cynical joke. The fact that the world allows a tiny group of people the monopoly on money creation, is already a unequivocal violation of Art. 1 of the UDHR, but combined with Art. 4 of the UDHR it is clear that the current financial system is equal to a slavery system as mentioned in Article 4. This system is the only reason for the wealth- and income inequality in the entire world and needs to be banned as clearly as any other slave and servitude system. Because the owners of our current financial-slave system do anything to obfuscate their type of slave system, we are forced to clarify Art. 4 by adding. “Slavery includes operating any financial system were not every human participates equally in the money creation and not every human has equal insight in all financial transaction of every other human.”.

Revised: Article 3

No human shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms. Slavery includes operating any financial system were not every human participates equally in the money creation and not every human has equal insight in all financial transaction of every other human.

Article 5

Original

No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

Edits:

  1. Article 5 will be renumbered to Article 4;

  2. “No one” will be replaced by “No human“.

Revised: Article 4

No human shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

Article 6

Original

Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.

Edits:

  1. This article only could make sense if there is an actual difference between whatever is exactly meant with “Everyone“ and “a Person“. If “Everyone“ and “a Person“ is the same and means “a human“, then you read: “Every human has the right to recognition everywhere as a human before the law.” And since Art. 1 states that “All humans are free and equal in dignity and rights.“ Art. 6 is meaningless and can be deleted.

Revised: Article --

REMOVED

Article 7

Original

All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.

Edits:

  1. Art. 1 already states that “All humans are free and equal in dignity and rights.“. This obviously also applies to the law. The law exists of this UDHR document plus regional law that is created by individual societies and all related jurisprudence derived from it. This means that the law will be different from region to region. This however doesn’t change the fact that Art. 7 is redundant and will be deleted.

REMOVED

Article 8

Original

Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.

Edits:

  1. Article 8 will be renumbered to Article 5;

  2. “Everyone” will be replaced by “Every human“.

  3. “the competent national” will be replaced by “officially installed regional“. Since transparency can be secured better by small communities, tribunals should be installed by the regions instead of any super-regional institute (that all should be abolished anyway).

  4. “for acts” will be replaced by “to defend himself against acts that are“. This just to clarify the Article;

  5. “the constitution or by law“ will be replaced by “this UDHR document and the regional laws“, because there is no reference to any constitution. Any National law should be replaced by regional law because of transparency and community connection reasons.

Revised: Article 5

Every human has the right to an effective remedy by the officially installed regional tribunals to defend himself against acts that are violating the fundamental rights granted him by this UDHR document and the regional laws.

Article 9

Original

No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.

Edits:

  1. Article 9 will be renumbered to Article 6;

  2. “No one” will be replaced by “No human“.

  3. To be able to assess is an arrest, detention or exile is justified, the following needs to be added to this Article: “Every human will immediately be informed about the exact reason(s) for the arrest, detention or exile, and should immediately be allowed to inform several different people about the situation he is in.”

Revised: Article 6

No human shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile. Every human will immediately be informed about the exact reason(s) for any arrest, detention or exile, and should immediately be allowed to inform several different people about the situation he is in.

Article 10

Original

Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him.

Edits:

  1. Article 10 will be renumbered to Article 7;

  2. “Everyone” will be replaced by “Every human“.

  3. “of his rights“ is removed. The rights are described in the UDHR. There are no more or less rights than described there. Regions can only define additional obligations. Neither rights or obligations need to be determined in a public hearing of an independent and impartial tribunal. They all must already be determined before any tribunal. The only thing that needs to be determined is if the criminal charge against him can be justified. “in the determination of his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him.“ will be replaced by “in the determination if a criminal charge against him is justified.“

Revised: Article 7

Every human is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination if a criminal charge against him is justified.

Article 11

Original

  1. Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.

  2. No one shall be held guilty of any penal offense on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offense, under national or international law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offense was committed.

Edits:

  1. Article 11 will be renumbered to Article 8;

  2. “Everyone” will be replaced by “Every human“.

  3. “No one” will be replaced by “No human“.

  4. “he has had all the guarantees“ is replaced by “he has all the means“. “guarantees” is too vague.

  5. “under national or international lay” will be replaced by “as described in this UDHR document and in regional law“ as the “applicable law“ already is described

Revised: Article 8

  1. Every human charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has all the means necessary for his defense.

  2. No human shall be held guilty of any penal offense on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offense, as described in this UDHR document and in regional law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offense was committed.

Article 12

Original

No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honor and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.

Edits:

  1. Article 12 will be renumbered to Article 9;

  2. “No one” will be replaced by “No human“.

  3. “Everyone” will be replaced by “Every human“.

  4. “the law“ is replaced by “the regional or global law enforcement“.

Revised: Article 9

No human shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honor and reputation. Every human has the right to the protection of the the regional or global law enforcement against such interference or attacks.

Article 13

Original

  1. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.

  2. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

Edits:

  1. Article 13 will be renumbered to Article 10;

  2. “Everyone” will be replaced by “Every human“.

  3. 13.1: “within the borders of each state” will be replaced by “anywhere in this world as long as this is according to the regional urban and rural planning regulations.“. Since economic inequality is removed by removing the current financial slave system and systems of scarcity, there are no obvious financial reasons to move to places of other cultures. It is very likely that people will return to there origins since the financial incentive has disappeared.

  4. 13.2: Can be deleted as there is no point to keep borders closed for humans. Because of this, 10.1 becomes just 10.

Revised: Article 10

Every human has the right to freedom of movement and residence anywhere in this world as long as this is according to the regional urban and rural planning regulations.

Article 14

Original

  1. Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.

  2. This right may not be invoked in the case of prosecutions genuinely arising from non-political crimes or from acts contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.

Edits:

  1. As people are free to move and reside all around the world and the United Nations and all its subsidiaries will be dismantled, Article 14 can be removed.

Article 15

Original

  1. Everyone has the right to a nationality.

  2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

  1. As people are free to move and reside all around the world and country names only bear a symbolic, historic and cultural meaning, no rights will be derived from country names. Article 15 can be removed.

Article 16

Original

  1. Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.

  2. Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses.

  3. The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.

Edits:

  1. Article 16 will be renumbered to Article 11;

  2. “without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion“ can be removed as that is already arranged in Art. 1.;

  3. “of full age“ should be specified with a minimum age, like 16 years, but that regions could change that in a bracket of 16 to 21 years. The description will be: “of a minimum age that is regionally determined between 16 to 21 years“.;

  4. “They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.” is also rewritten because equal rights are already arranged in Art. 1. The only thing that needs to be arranged is that the regional law can not arrange and enforce different rights between husband and wife. The description will be “regional law can not infringe on the equal rights of husband and wife regarding the decision to get married, their rights during marriage and the right to dissolute the marriage.“;

  5. “by society and the State“ is changed in “by the region“.

Revised: Article 11

  2. “Everyone” will be replaced by “Every human“;

  3. “No one” will be replaced by “No human“.

  4. Article 12.3 is added to prevent the monopolization of national resources: ”No human can own natural resources. This includes the land and everything that is in it. It also includes the rivers, lakes and oceans, the atmosphere, space and any celestial bodies. Only objects or materials that are created or extracted by humans can be owned by humans. Edits:

  3. Patents and copyrights are the basis of many things that are wrong in society. Like hoarding of money and land, the hoarding of intellectual properties must be banned to ensure a free and transparent flow of information, which prevents a lot of criminal and devastating plots. This means that the text “and material“ will be removed from 27.2. This way an author can still claim the moral ownership, and can collect voluntary payments, but he can’t protect his production from copying and exposure.

Conclusion

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a great template to base an improved version of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on. A new UDHR that now will be the foundation of the new legal system that will be applicable in every region in the Copiania project. Obviously many rights were originally written with large governments and the United Nations in mind. That is the reason the new version is much shorter, with less vague text. Much of the vague text in the original, was used to prop up and protect the United Nations and governments and institutes that protect the owners of the central banks. The mutations of the UDHR in this document, show how important it is to leave this criminal organization behind, and only use the remaining parts that were there to convince the people to accept it initially.
